Yes, you might be able to do that, depending upon your level
of mechanical aptitude. Combination locks aren't super
complicated when you can lay eyes and hands on them.

Safes are very unforgiving of mistakes. Be sure you're clear
on the concept, test everything two or three times. Or you can
hire a safe technician to get it working right.
