You might have the wrong impression about hiring a professional to open your safe. The fee for opening the safe you describe will more probably be in hundreds, not thousands of dollars. Otherwise you'll have to force it open yourselves. That will be a lot more strenuous than watching a technician work, but it won't cost anything but the effort and safe probably won't be repairable. |
