Was down cleaning out old family safe deposit box in NYC last week at one chase plaza. The guy that works there told me it is the biggest bank vault in the world - the size of a football field. It is 90 feet under street level. It was amazing- I am used to the vault at my local bank here on Long Island. They have to lower the floors since the doors are so big. I know there are many vault lovers on this forum so figured I would share. I have been in a bunch of big wall street banks but never seen anything like this... |
