Jacob, based on the number of patents that Burton Harris went through I would not be surprised to find a couple different autos made by them. That is not to say yours is Burton Harris. B-H was later bought by Sargent & Greenleaf. The rectangular door (safe or vault) Diebold autos were patented by Diebold and at least one of three different Diebold cannonball autos I know of. I'm thinking maybe the Yale autos used that type of female arbor but memory is very bad. And then you have Hall Dalton Autos and I think there is at least one other brand. Doug |
