I want to secure a generator and tool cabinet for a few hours while on a site. Nothing unattended for long periods, more just safe for a lunch break. I was thinking of the old chain and padlock around a tree trick. Someone told me wire cables were better since they are harder to cut with a hacksaw or bolt cutter. I claim a large diameter chain is better and looks intimidating so people don't even try. I saw a chain at a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer that claimed to be some hardened metal, was made of square rod instead of round, etc. Any opinions? |
