Jerry: I have an Empire safe in my collection. It's a common fire resistant safe with an inexpensive locking mechanism called a direct entry lock. My Empire safe is green with red bordered gold lettering. They were manufactured by the National Safe Company. I believe I have the original invoice for the safe, if I find it I'll re-post and give an estimate of the safe's age... Dave LaBarge |
