Thanks for your help. I wasn't even close and in fact there were 5 numbers instead of just 3 as I remembered (although there were 2 duplicates-I hadn't remembered that). Had a locksmith come in and he was able to get the numbers "off the tumblers" however, we still had trouble with those numbers. We ended up turning the dial, and then taking the mechanism out to see how the numbers aligned. To get it to consistently open, we have to use numbers that are a couple away from what was set. It was a good learning experience. |
