Doug, I've only watched that movie a few times. The sparklers they used were impressive, but the plot was a tired one. If it was based on a book I'm sure the book was better. Trivia from that movie . . . the background in "Thief" helped the makers get their job making musical noises for the "Miami Vice" TV show.
