Hi Ken: The Lowrie wall safes I've seen have a patent date stamped on the drive wheel. Most, if not all, will have the February 11, 1902 date on them and as you said it's not "well over a hundred years old". Probably close to a hundred or less...check the house deed for when it was built and it will most likley give an accurate date of installation and close enough date of manufacture. As far as value, low end $100.00..high end a couple of hundred max...if it's mint. Dave |
